There are many ways for ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students to become involved with the Longyear Museum of Anthropology and the Picker Art Gallery.
University Museums provide paid job opportunities and learning opportunities for interested students to expand their experience in all aspects of museum work.
Paid Positions
Throughout the academic year, we offer a range of paid positions at both museums. Students can apply to work as interns for various departments of either museum or as gallery attendants. For the majority of these positions, no previous museum experience is required.

Learning Opportunities
Students have the opportunity to take coursework through the Museum Studies Program. MUSE 300: Museum Curating, is a unique opportunity for students to work with Longyear and Picker Curators to learn about the process of curating a museum exhibition and work as a team to produce displays that are featured in the Picker and Longyear galleries the following semester.
