Bystander Workshops
Our Bystander Intervention Workshops are for students interested in learning how to safely intervene during problematic situations. Sessions are led by trained student facilitators.
Bystander Intervention 2.0 Training
This training builds on the Bystander Intervention 1.0, and provides an interactive experience where students consider when and how they will intervene in dangerous situations involving substance use, hazing, and power-based violence.
Note: all first-year students must complete Bystander Intervention 1.0 during their first semester on campus, and will receive an email with directions.
Peer Support Program
The Peer Support Program allows students to meet one on one with a trained Shaw Wellness Institute Ambassador to talk through wellness-related issues including time management, sleep management, financial wellness, and belonging and connection. This program seeks to help students feel more comfortable and empowered when asking for help or support, and also as a connector to campus resources.
Wagging for Wellness Pet Therapy
