ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students Aayusha Dhungana ’26, MacDonald Chirara ’25, and Margo Williams ’23 have been selected by Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI-U) as Class of 2023 Fellows.

The Council on Foreign Relations has awarded geography professor and George R. and Myra T. Cooley Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies Daniel Monk an International Affairs Fellowship for International Relations Scholars.

Marsalis to receive honorary degree alongside Mary Ann Moran ’77, Mark Siegel ’73, Joe Castiglione ’68, and IIya Kaminsky An icon of the jazz world with more than 110 recordings to his name, Wynton Marsalis will provide remarks at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s 2023 commencement on Sunday, May 21.

During winter break, SRS students visited landmark southern cities to form deeper connections with course content and their peers.

Misty Copeland, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, will address the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø community on Friday, April 14.

All ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students from families with annual income levels up to $175,000 will have federal loans replaced with University grants as part of the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Commitment, beginning in the 2023–2024 academic year — an expansion from the current income threshold of $150,000. 

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees unanimously voted on Monday, August 29, to extend the contract of President Brian W. Casey through 2030.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø welcomed the Class of 2026 to campus on Sunday, Aug. 21. With 817 members, this is the most selective and academically accomplished class in the history of the institution — formed from the largest applicant pool ever seen by the University.

Today, at a celebration two years in the making, students sent home at the height of the pandemic received due credit for the grit and determination displayed during the final months of their senior year.

Proud families and professors alike cheered on the nearly 700 graduating members in the Class of 2022 at the University’s 201st Commencement exercises, Sunday, May 22.
