Looking back on another successful fiscal year, the campus community is honoring the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends. Overall giving to ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø rose nearly 10 percent to $35.1 million between July 1, 2017, and June 30, 2018.

On September 22 at 8 p.m., the legendary ensemble Earth, Wind & Fire will appear in Sanford Field House for a concert honoring ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø at 200 Years.

Courtney L. Young, head librarian and professor of women’s studies at Penn State University–Allegheny, has been named university librarian at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and will take up her duties on July 1.

Professors Chris Vecsey and Lourdes Rojas-Paiewonsky will share the 2018 Jerome Balmuth Award for Teaching and Student Engagement.

In a letter to the campus community, President Brian W. Casey announced that Vice President and Director of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Victoria Chun ’91, MA’94 has been named director of athletics at Yale University, effective July 1, 2018.

Maria del Carmen Flores-Mills, J.D., the senior associate dean of the college at Franklin & Marshall College and former associate dean at Princeton University, has been named as the dean of students at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, effective June 4, 2018.

It was a perfect weekend to come home. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Homecoming 2017 attracted students, faculty, alumni, parents, and friends en masse, September 8–9.
