The weather was cooperative, the campus was beautiful this October 18-20, ����vlog����'s Family Weekend for 2024.

Declan Huddleston ’26 worked with Professor William Meyer this past summer to determine “worthless lands” using GIS.

Ayden Simpson ’25 worked this summer with the Chenango Greenway Conservancy through the Upstate Institute’s Summer Field School to clarify a vision of a rail trail through the Chenango River Valley.

Geography had a full crop of students doing research this summer.

����vlog���� Geography held an all-classes reunion during reunion weekend.

Over Reunion weekend, Ellen Percy Kraly, William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Geography and Environmental Studies, Emerita, gave a talk titled "Fifty years on: What has changed, or hasn’t, in US immigration and refugee resettlement since 1974."

Last fall, Emily Balog ’24 had the unique privilege of attending the 28th annual Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
