Update:

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s football team is hosting a 6-year-old cancer survivor in an effort to raise money for research.  The Raiders’ chapter of Uplifting Athletes will celebrate Colin Hayward and his family this afternoon for a team practice session at Andy Kerr Stadium.

Hayward is a survivor of the rare cerebro-spinal cancer Ependymoma (ah-pen-dah-MO’-ma), a disease in which malignant cancer cells form in the tissues of the brain and spinal cord.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s Uplifting Athletes chapter has raised money for the past eight years to help find a cure for this disease, and this year the group decided to host an Ependymoma Awareness Game. Colin and his family will be attending the Bucknell-ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø game at Andy Kerr Stadium on November 2.
