As Entrepreneur in Residence, I am responsible for supporting and leading the Thought into Action (TIA) program at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. I work directly with students as an advisor as they develop their own ventures. Additionally, I work on recruitment and training for alumni mentors who support each of our student businesses.
I have a diverse background in design thinking, architecture, and technology startups. At the age of 17, I moved from my hometown in Scotland to Geneva, NY after earning a Fulbright Scholarship to attend Hobart and William Smith Colleges (HWS) where I majored in architecture with a double minor in entrepreneurship and education. During my first year in college, I launched UTime, an ed-tech business that offered time management support to college students through automating the scheduling process. I raised $60,000 of startup capital and became the first student startup to be enrolled in the Launch NY Founders Go Big Program. I continued to develop this business for over two-and-a-half years. I have since returned to support Launch NY and the other startups in their program. Upon graduating from HWS in 2024, I joined the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Entrepreneurship & Innovation team in September 2024.
