ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø's On-Demand Shuttle can be booked by students, employees and guests of departments on University-related business for trips between campus and Syracuse or Utica.

The service offers easy and safe transport to and from the Syracuse Hancock International Airport, the Syracuse Regional Transportation Center, and the Utica Boehlert Transportation Center.

Change of Service

Beginning on September 1, On-Demand Shuttles will be operated by ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. We are currently transitioning our services. If you need to book an On-Demand shuttle before August 31, download First Transit's request form and email it to us.ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.OnDemandScheduling@transdev.com.

Reservations

*If you're making a round trip, fill out the form once for departure and once for return, for a total of two submissions.

Reservation Deadline

We ask that you submit your request at least two business days in advance, taking into account business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday). For example, if you need a ride at 1 p.m. on Friday, you will need to send in your request no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. For trips occurring on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, put in your request no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Fees

  • Syracuse Hancock International Airport: $50, one way.
  • Syracuse Regional Transportation Center: $50, one way.  
  • Utica Boehlert Transportation Center: $30, one way.

 

All fees will be billed to your student account or an employee's department budget code.
We are not able to accept cash, check or credit cards for payment.

Policies and Refunds

Refunds will only be given if cancellations are received by email to our office at least 1 business day before the scheduled date of travel.

Cancellations must be sent by email to transportation@colgate.edu. If you miss your departure time or you do not cancel your ride at least 1 business day in advance, you will be charged for the ride.

If our office cannot honor your request, you will be responsible for arranging transportation at your expense.

Transportation for groups of any size must be confirmed with the Transportation Office for scheduling availability. Call 315-228-7709 to talk about group transportation options.
